• Learn the basics of light  microscopy and optics, cameras and  image analysis.

• Hands on experience with basic and advanced light microscopy work stations including confocal laser scanning microscopy.

• Exposure  to the latest imaging equipment and new opto-electronic methods.

• Develop competence at image formation, image processing and manipulation and recording using light microscopes.

• Digital images and videos will be produced for projects.
